Hello, I have restored my BDG 250H to 100% original and still have quite a few new original parts left. I am now restoring my 350 Boss and need some parts. I need the rubbers for the bottom of the rear shock absorbers and desperately looking for the 2 front banana shaped exhaust pipes. I would really appreciate some help on this.
Best Regards
allan from New Zealand.

Thank you very much, I will find them on the internet. there is no problem with the English, I really appreciate your help. I also have a 1951 BDG 250 hard tail in a 100% restoration. I even have enough new original parts to build another one. The problem is just my 350 Boss. I know of this company that finished last year, I nearly purchased the exhaust manifold from them 2 years ago but they were $1800 NZ. Now I'm not happy with myself that I didn't get them.
Many thanks
Allan

Thank you and thank you very much. When I took this apart some years ago I marked all the wires with white paint with a map. Now I see the paint has faded and I cant determine which wires are where.

These diagrams are perfect, thank you gentlemen. :D

Hello again. I'm going to rebuild the exhaust pipes. Can someone please tell me if the curved pipe inside is important for the tuning or can it be removed. To me it looks like it will cause a restriction to the gases getting out and contribute to losing some power.

Your thoughts and some help please.

Hi
The Boss pipe is no tuned pipe that delivers more power as we know it from modern schnuerle twostrokes . It is only for noise reduction.
I would not take out the tube. Without it maybe you get some resonance that you don´t want.
No tuned pipe does not mean that the system isn´tuned. I hope you know what I want to say.

I understand Christian, and thank you, I will refit the pipe when the exhaust repairs are completed.
